The Ministry
of the Attorney General is responsible for providing
a fair and accessible justice system which reflects
the needs of the diverse communities it serves across
government and the province. It strives to manage the
justice system in an equitable, affordable and accessible
way throughout the province (News Release 2007).
The Ministry
of Children and Youth Services provides funding
for child welfare, family intervention services, children's
community support services, children's mental health
services, and child care.

CLEO
is a community legal clinic that produces clear language
material for people with low incomes. Main topics include
social assistance, landlord and tenant law, refugee
and immigration law, workers' compensation, women's
issues, family law, employment insurance and human rights.
The Youth Challenge Fund is the Ontario Provincial Government's
initiative to deal with the root causes of choices
that can lead young people toward crime.

The
Youth Opportunities Strategy is a $28.5 million
investment by the province of Ontario in establishing
and expanding community programs to help youth succeed,
responding to needs identified by youth and community
organizations.
